Christian Gero is an award winning theatrical sound designer, post audio editor, and audio engineer. His theatrical designs and collaborations have been heard across the country, including productions with: NYC: 59E59; CHICAGO: Court Theatre, american theatre co., Victory Gardens, Griffin Theatre, Gift; MILW: Milwaukee Rep, Chamber Theatre, First Stage; KANSAS CITY: Kansas City Rep; and many more. In the world of post audio, Gero has worked effectively with agencies, clients, and talent to produce successful advertising campaign spots for radio and television. As an audio engineer, he has work with groups and guest artists such as The Allman Brothers Band, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Steve Winwood, The Black Crowes, Widespread Panic, Buddy Guy, O.A.R., Arlo Guthrie, Susan Tedeschi, Rusted Root, Grace Potter, Better Than Ezra, Nels Cline (of Wilco), and Robert Randolph. Gero is a graduate of Northwestern University. Originally hailing from Washington D.C., he spent the better part of a decade in Chicago and now resides in Milwaukee.
Gero is a two-time recipient of the Joseph Jefferson for Outstanding Sound Design, and an NAACP Image Award nominee.
